Keerthi Reddy is a south Indian and Bollywood actress. Keerthi reddy started her career from south Telugu and Tamil films.

Keerthi Reddy is born on17th November, 1978 in Hyderabad.

Keerthi's father was a interior designer and mother is a dress designer. Her grand father is Ganga Reddy, Member of Parliament from Dichpally in Andhra Pradesh. She was raised in Bangalore.
She did her schooling in Jiddu Krishnamurthy's The Valley School near Bangalore.

She is trained Bharatanatyam dancer for eight years. She briefly attended St. Joseph Public School in Hyderabad. She also attended Ryerson University for higher education in Toronto, Canada and Baltimore, U.S.


Her hobbies are aerobics, Hindustani Classical music, and Bharathnatyam Dance. She takes lessons in horse riding, salsa and jazz during her free time.


Keerthi Reddy's first film was Gunshot directed by S. V. Krishna Reddy which was a flop.

After that she acted in the only hit film of her career Tholi Prema with Pawan Kalyan. Reddy dropped out of two successful films in 1999, Vaali and Sethu.

When Keerthi was visiting Mumbai to participate in Gautamraja Dhakshya's photo session for an ad, she bagged the role opposite Abhishek Bachchan in 'Tera Jadu Chal Gaya. But the film failed miserably.

Her next two films Rajiv Rai's ‘Pyar Ishq Aur Mohabbat’ and Anil Kapoor starrer ‘Badhai ho Badhai’, on which she had banked heavily, too bombed . She was virtually written off from Bollywood. And Keerthi was back in South.


She acted in 'Arjun' after a long time (after her marriage) as Mahesh Babu's sister. She received a Best Supporting Actress Award from Filmfare for her role.

A simple girl by heart, she loves doing simple household chores like shopping for groceries, cleaning house and reading. Her favorite actors remain Sanjeev Kumar, Brad Pitt, Michael Douglas and Andy Griffith. Her favorite films are ‘Lolita’ and ‘The Piano.’

Her kannada film with upendra named superstar was a flop movie.

Keerthi Reddy is not a successful actress either in Bollywood and south India as well. She has tried Bollywood, Kollywood and even did a couple of Kanada and Malayalam films without success, the success of 'Tholiprema' seems the only impressive point in her resume as an actress.


Keerthi married Sumanth, Nagarjuna Akkineni's nephew and the grandson of ANR in 2004. Sumanth is also an actor. The duo fell in love while on a shoot. However, they divorced in 2006.

She reminds you of a cuddly cat; clever and careful. Mesmerizing smile, and naughty beautiful eyes, this soft baby faced girl is proud of her traditional values imbibed during the course of her upbringing.
