It was her second movie Naqaab which was also released on 13th July, 2007. Her cast as the leading lady in the thriller Naqaab opposite Bobby Deol and Akshaye Khanna. The movie received a lukewarm response. She takes risks and added to her gutsy reputation during the shooting of 'Naqaab' in Dubai. She opted to do a stunt on a speed boat all by herself and when the cameras started rolling, she went off at a breakneck speed and got her crew worried. She believes in doing her homework well.

While shooting for Priyadarshan’s film in Kerala, Urvashi Sharma suffered from a case of wardrobe malfunction. She was shooting for a song when a wayward button gave way, and her blouse opened. She was quick on the uptake and hurriedly caught it with her hands. She was then covered and rushed to the vanity van. Fortunately for her, there were not many people present except for the choreographer Pony Verma and the unit.
