Asin Thottumkal is a very popular South Indian,Tamil and Telugu actress.
Asin started her film career with malayalam film "Narendra Makan Jayakanthan Vaka" in 2001.That film was directed by Satya Anthikkad.But the film was not a big success as one would have thought.However,her major breakthough in South Indian films came with a tollywood movie 'Amma Nanna O Tamilammai". After that,she had a few more commercial hits through the telugu films Sivamani and Lakshmi Narasimha . Her next biggest success came for her performance in the Tamil film 'Ghajini' in 2005.That film was later dubbed into telugu and hindi(bollywood).
Her telugu film "Amma Nanna O Tamilammai" was also dubbed into kollywood(tamil) movie M.Kumaran son of Mahalakshmi which ended as one of the blockbusters of 2004 in Kollywood.

Asin acted with most popular faces in tamil,telugu industry including Surya,Venkatesh,Ajith,Raviteja,Vikram,etc.
Asin's next film was Dasavatharam opposite one of the biggest stars of Indian Cinema Kamal Hassan.The movie will be bubbed into few more other languages aswell including Malayalam,Kannada,Telugu,Hindi,Bhojpuri,etc.
