Amrita Arora was born on January 31st, 1981 in Mumbai. Her father is Punjabi Sikh father, Anil Arora and mother is a Malayali Catholic mother, Joyce Polycarp. She is most famous model cum actress Maliaka Arora's sister,


Amrita Arora’s sister, Malaika Arora, is married to Arbaaz Khan who is the brother of Salman Khan and Sohail Khan.

She started her career as a model and then appeared in music videos. She was featured in ads for Ponds, Elle 18, After Smoke, and Sunsilk fruitiness. Then she worked for a most famous for hosting MTV House full and MTV Chillout on MTV India.
